<p>So when he is found dead on the village green, brilliant Belgian detective Inspector Jape finds himself enmeshed in a fiendishly complex snare of intrigue and revenge.</p>

There&#8217;s only  one problem &#8211; only a maiden can touch the stones &#8211; non-maidens will die. Kate and Natalie come along for the ride &#8211; but one of them is hiding a secret about their purity. Featuring a Wagner/Puccini/Verdi mash-up involving middle-management training, and a man with a mysterious package.</p>

<p>Featuring references to both Starlight Express and Book Of Mormon, and a Gangnam Style versus Morris Dancing Style show-down that had to be believed to have been seen. Careful you don&#8217;t lose your skin to a strigil!</p>

<p>The Princess of this pickle kingdom leaves with her lower-status heart-throb Jeremy Jenkins to join the free society of the French courgettes &#8211; Les Legumes Superieure.</p>
<p>But her departure from the restrictive society of the pickle jar sparks a revolution. The vinegar workers rise up and dethrone the king, forcing him to work cleaning the bottom of the jar.</p>
<p>Will the Princess return to her people and save her father from slavery? But if she does, will she even want to undo the changes towards a more egalitarian society?</p>

<p>Father Bernard and Cardinal Salvatore hold emergency meetings about the Pope&#8217;s new reality shops in their favourite haunt, &#8220;The Cardinal&#8217;s Inn&#8221;, Liz from Venice has an invisible gondola and the keys to Michael&#8217;s heart, and God reveals himself to be a Fosse Fan. It all ends with a happy congregation doing &#8220;The Vatican Strut&#8221;.</p>

<p>As the sulphurous  rumblings of Iceland&#8217;s almost unpronounceable volcano threaten a fiery apocalypse, things aren&#8217;t going well between Beth and Frank &#8211; Beth&#8217;s had 24 children, and her fertility is freaking Frank out &#8211; so he goes to see Brunnhilde the Norn sister and gets the gift of prophecy, while she gets free food from Benjio in Aisle 4 of Iceland.  Which kind of makes things worse.</p>
<p>An ark is built.  Frank takes the children, but Beth stays in Iceland&#8217;s premier sauna / bar with her best friend Benjio to weather out the ash cloud. How do you spell Eyjafjallajökull? Like that….</p>
