Gang member Cristos is in love with pious God-fearing Juanita.  He manages to escape the gang’s influence, and persuades Juanita to give up her plans to enter a nunnery.  But the gang don’t let go so easily and he is led back into his old fighting ways. As Juanita’s family gather to watch her take holy orders, Cristos and the gang plan an attack on the Church.  It can only lead to bloodshed, and as the bodies pile up, Cristos must choose between the real way and the Rio way.
