Show 424: Turkish Delight, 20th April 2013 matinee, Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne

In Olde Istanbul, a loose re-telling of the Hamlet story. The Sheik marries Yasmina, much to the dismay of the Sheik’s son, who also loves Yasmina. It’s going to end tragically, but for whom?

Featuring peacock’s , belly-dancing, Gangnam – Style father-son dance-offs, saffron-related bartering in Siberia, Paris and London, and some almighty poetic rhyming ( not to mention classy subliminal Hamlet references) from court poet Nasaka.
